For Coastside Votors on June 6, 2010

Another email I just received… thought local voters may want to know.  I condensed for the purpose of this post…

Have you received your VOTE BY MAIL/ABSENTEE BALLOT IN THE MAIL?

Some Coastsiders, particularly in the El Granada / Miramar area, have not received their mail-in ballots.  If you are a mail/absentee voter, you should have your ballot by now.  If it has not arrived, please do the following immediately:

Call San Mateo County TODAY at 650 312-5222 and request a duplicate ballot by mail–or ask that it be hand delivered if needed.

If you still don’t receive your ballot in time to mail it in, you can drop it off before election day at 40 Tower Road, San Mateo, or at any City Hall (including Half Moon Bay); or on election day at 40 Tower Road or any polling place.

If you don’t receive a ballot at all, you can still cast a Provisional ballot, but only at 40 Tower Road or at your own precinct polling place.

Call 650 312-5222 to get your polling place if you are at all uncertain.

Alternatively, the following website will let people look up their polling place:

No matter your position, it’s  a privilege to vote.
